Outside
Note: To access the villa, you must park the car and walk
approximately 250m through the charming hamlet of
Scanderaruola.
This is an unmade path, and while suitable for adults and children, it is, unfortunately not suitable for the disabled and the elderly.
Terraces and Patios:
Main Terrace:
There is one large terrace accessible via double doors in the sitting room - it is a wonderful sun trap with the most idyllic view. Here you will find an exterior table where people usually breakfast, lunch and dine. Weather permitting (it usually does) you can sit and watch the sun set behind the mountains to the west and pick out the lights of the village of Comano in the distance.
There is a full-width, full-length automatic canopy, allowing the entire terrace to shaded when required - even when raining, you can sit under the canopy, free from the elements. As a precaution, the canopy is fitted with an anenometer which will withdraw the canopy if the wind speed increases too much.
Breakfast/Barbeque Terrace:
The 'breakfast' terrace catches the
morning sun and is a tranquil place to start the day.
There is a small barbeque and there is a staircase
down the side of the property leading to the lower
ground floor as well as the garden.
The top of the staircase is gated for safety reasons.
Mountain Room Terrace:
Shaded and secluded, the mountain room terrace is an ideal
place for a quiet hour alone.
AT NO POINT WITHIN THE GROUNDS OF THE VILLA ARE YOU
OVERLOOKED BY ANYONE.
